Water Evaluation Trial (WET) - A Randomized, Controlled Trial of In-Home Drinking Water Intervention to Reduce Gastrointestinal Illness
Summary: The Water Evaluation Trial (WET) was a federally-funded study designed to determine the incidence of gastrointestinal illness (diarrhea and vomiting) associated with consumption of drinking water in this country. WET was conducted in Scott County, Iowa, in the communities of Davenport and Bettendorf, located on the Mississippi River.

Legionella Chloramine Conversion Study
Summary:
A 2-year, prospective, environmental study was conducted to evaluate whether converting from chlorine to monochloramine for water disinfection would decrease Legionella colonization of hot water systems.
